From roots planted on a mid-Michigan farm, digital artist Connie Haley now resides in rural East Texas with her husband and two children. A graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in advertising, Connie founded an advertising agency which thrived in her local market for many years. But a more creative, less structured artistic outlet called. First as an agency for other artists and photographers, Connie transitioned into the world of art licensing.
Eventually she began to develop her own distinct brand of digital imagery based on things she loves: flowers, plants and other things of nature. “It is such fun to create something entirely unexpected from something familiar. Most of the time, even I am surprised by the imagery as it evolves on my computer,” she says. “For inspiration, I look to God, my environment, and to the bright eyes and big hearts of my children.”
